A recent graduate of the Painting Studio at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, Julie Kopová (born 1995) convinces us of the continued topicality of classical media. Her abstract paintings and large-format drawings are based on a distinctive use of colours and the exploration of movement. The dynamic curves in her work, often inspired by music, represent an original approach to expressing ideas and emotions.
